My kids love the good feeling they get from helping out in the community. They've helped with toy drives at the holidays, clearing trails at local conservation lands, and sending supplies to families who lost their homes to a fire in a nearby city. They understand the idea that "when everyone does a little, together we can do a lot."

Listing your accomplishments, no matter how small, is a very powerful exercise. In the face of all the worrying we do about what we haven't done yet, what we still need to do, and how we're going to do it all, we forget to give ourselves credit for the things we HAVE done.
Try making a "done list" today! You will be amazed and proud when you look down at that paper and see all that you've achieved.
