camp barnabas
Our youth group helps out every year at a place called Camp Barnabas. It is fantastic! You will want to be sure to have some sort of Short Term Health Insurance or Travel Medical Insurance for your group. You just want to make sure that everyone is covered.
The trip is a fantastic way to expose teens to disabled kids. It is also a great experience for those who are disabled. It gives kids who would probably not hang out at school a place to interact and really understand each other. I hope some of you will consider going next year. It is located in Purdy, MO.

- I noticed you talking about Camp Barnabas and I am familiar with it. I am a member here, but I am also a leader of another ning site called Christians with Disabilities @ www.christianswithdisabilities.ning.com. Would love to have you join there as well. We are looking for young people like you who have a heart for people with disabilities. Come and check us out.
